We are a team of enthusiastic volunteers dedicated to restoring Democratic leadership in North Carolina’s state legislature. By working together with candidates and local county parties, we strengthen important support systems and build strong coalitions for a better future. Together, we can make a difference!

We envision a North Carolina where Democratic legislators, supported by strong county parties, enact laws that ensure opportunity and equality for all.
In partnership with the Democratic parties of North Carolina counties, we mobilize volunteers and resources to help build party infrastructure and elect Democratic legislators in swing districts to the General Assembly.
Our People
Volunteers fuel Team Up NC, and your help is essential to electing Democrats in NC! There are many ways to make a difference – join our volunteers:
• Canvass in neighboring counties.
• Staff phone banks.
• Join one of our behind-the-scenes teams.
• Write postcards, and more!
Our Results
In 2024, we focused on 11 swing races across the state, aiming to break the GOP supermajority. And we did it, alongside other hard-working Democrats across the state!
Given that almost all targeted races were won or lost by less than 4%, our efforts were an invaluable factor in breaking the GOP supermajority to deliver critical veto power to Governor Josh Stein.
